Consulting Services
Our successful approach to consulting consists of gaining an understanding of the geologic and geotechnical characteristics of a site and applying proven and innovative solutions for project design and construction. Our experience is combined with traditional and modern analytical tools to provide our clients with safe, practical, and cost-effective engineering solutions and recommendations.
Our project experience spans the breadth of geotechnical practice including:
Our project experience spans the breadth of geotechnical practice including:
- Geologic and geotechnical studies for the planning, permitting, and design of a variety of engineering works, including: residential, industrial, and commercial buildings and developments, earthwork operations, water and waste water treatment plants, dams, highways, bridges, airport pavements, waterfront structures, renewable energy facilities, slope stability evaluation for excavated slopes and natural slopes, landslide corrections, among others.
- Deep and shallow foundation investigation, design, and monitoring, including underpinning. Monitoring tools include load testing, PDA (Pile Driving Analyzer), CPT testing, vibration monitoring.
- Liquefaction analysis
- Settlement analysis and monitoring.
- Investigation, design, and monitoring of retaining structures, including conventional retaining walls, soil nailing, tieback walls, mechanically stabilized earth walls (MSE walls) and easthslopes with geogrid reinforcements.
- Ground improvement and use of geosynthetics.
- Supervision of earthfill placement and foundations
- Borrow Pit exploration
- Excavability and rippability evaluation.
- Investigation, analysis, remediation, and monitoring of the stability of soil and rock slopes, including man-made embankments and active landslides.
- Sinkhole evaluations.
- Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments (Phase 1 ESAs) and Desktop Environmental Assessments
